- Raspberry Pi OS based on Debian Linux
- Inexpensive (UTRGV providing)
- UTRGV IS will not allow RPis on network
- Hardware will be used initially, personal computers will be used later

- Python: Anaconda Python on laptops (Mac or Windows) or Python on Raspberry Pi
- Jupyter Notebook: specialized Python application used in data science, data analytics, and artificial intelligence
