USB Cable: This is the cable that links the mouse with the computer; it is connected to the PCB through a four pin connector. This component comes complete from a supplier. It is placed into the Base by the third operator in the subassembly workstation.
Critical Assembly Points:
Short Circuits / Cable Failure: The USB Cables are checked for functionallity when they arrive at the plant. This inspection is done in Quality Room A. If a cable is found to be defective it is sent back to the manufacturer.
